This season the Minnesota Wild have a pretty different team. With players such as Ryan Suter’s and Zach Parise’s contracts being bought out and both of them signing with different clubs. Kirill signing just recently and the expansion team Kraken taking a few Wild players too.
I felt like the Wild buying out the Parise/Suter contracts was a great idea. The two of them have not been performing well defensively or offensively. It was also time to move on with the players, them being in their mid-30s and both of them coming to the team on the same day, it was only fitting for them to go out the same way.
Kaprizov signed almost too late but go to the State of Hockey just in time for the Wild Training Camp to begin, he will be practicing with the team on Friday (Sep. 23).
Over the off-season the Wild let some players go that could’ve done some good for the club for them in the future, like Carson Soucy, who was taken by the Kraken in the Expansion Draft, Marcus Johansson signed later on.
The Wild club this year is totally different, meaning that we will be on the edges of our seats watching them whether it be at the Xcel Energy Center in or sitting on your couch at home, I am looking forward to seeing what they can do to hopefully impress us, andaybe disappoint us (like every Minnesota team).

We need some guys to step up and take the roles of Zach and Ryan, and Talbot and Kaapo to take the next step
Yes, so far I see Moose (Foligno) doing a good job in the Alternate Captain role, Dumba not so much, I feel like another player would’ve done better
Great analysis
