Bears had a tough loss to the Vikings. That was a very heartbreaking way to lose at the end. But I’m surprised we even had a chance to win at the end with the way things were going from the start. The Vikings were up 21-3 at one point with Kirk Cousins and Justin Jefferson connecting on almost about every play. Cousins completed his first 17 passes in this one and it was one of his better days. I can’t believe after the way that all started the Bears were all able to score 21 unanswered points to take the lead on the Vikings at one point. That run all started with a sensational one-handed catch by Darnell Mooney. Which got them into position for their first score which was by David Montgomery. This would lead the Bears to put the ball in on their opening drive of the second half. That score was off a little dump-off pass to Velus Jones Jr to give him his first career touchdown. At that point, we had a game in our hands. Kirk Cousins early in the 4th quarter hot hand took a little break throwing an interception to Kindle Vildor which was the first interception of his career. Bears took the lead off of that turnover which wasn’t expected by anyone with the way things were going to start the game. Late in the 4th, the Vikings were able to drain a good amount of time off the clock where the Bears had to use some timeouts and happened to put the ball in. With that score, the Bears were down by 7 and had enough time to put something together. At one point they were at good field position and could have continued but something bad happened. When things were looking good with the Bears moving the ball around midfield Justin Fields checked the ball down to Ihmir Smith-Marsette who bounced off a tackle and had a wide-open lane to get out of bounce. I figured he would go straight for the sideline but didn’t. He kept on trying to make a play and the ball was ripped away from a Vikings defender to seal the deal. I actually thought the Bears would make something out of that drive but came up short.
That is my Bears recap. That was a tough one to lose but am happy the Bears actually made a game out of it because early that game I figured it was going to be a blowout. I will have another article coming up very soon when we play the Washington Commanders on Thursday night football which will be a pregame write-up. Thank you for reading and I’ll see you in the next one!

We had no business being in this game, but it was still devastating to lose
