Dallas Cowboys 2022 Season Overview (Almost midseason)

Hi everyone. I’m back. Let’s get into Cowboy talk. Dallas is 5-2 currently, as I write this. We’ve beaten the Bengals, Giants, Commanders, Rams, and Lions. Lost to the Buccaneers and Eagles. Sunday, the day before Halloween, will be Bears @ Cowboys. Dallas has Dak Prescott back, and even though he looked very sloppy last week in his return game, you saw as the game went on, he got into his rhythm. I don’t care what anyone says, but this is definitely a smoother offense with Dak back in instead of Rush. Now let’s get into FA and the trade deadline. The Cowboys traded for DT Johnathan Hankins and a 7th rounder from the Raiders, and only gave up a 6th round pick. To me, this was a very smooth move by Jerry Jones. We needed help with our run defense, and Hankins is the guy to do it. Also, with the Jourdan Lewis injury, he’s out for the year, they signed FA CB Kendall Sheffield. He was a former Falcon and has connections with his former head coach, and now Cowboys DC, Dan Quinn.

Now. Should the Cowboys make another trade/signing? Names could be Odell Beckham Jr, DJ Moore, Brandin Cooks, Chase Claypool, Jerry Jeudy, Elijah Moore, or even Denzel Mims. All guys would have to be through trade except for OBJ, who has reportedly shown interest in playing for the Cowboys. If you’re Jerry, why not add some talent to a mediocre WR core? I’d be all in for any of those guys listed, but the question is, would Jerry actually make the move?

Can’t wait for Sunday vs the Bears. We can’t take this game lightly as they just blew out the Patriots in New England on primetime. Justin Fields is a tough man to go up against, and Dallas will need to come in there with the mindset to kick some Bear butt.
