Can Isaac Okoro be the Future Face of the Cavaliers?

The Cleveland Cavaliers are now 2-0 in The NBA preseason. Although it is just the preseason, rookie Isaac Okoro has shown some flashes of greatness. In the first 107-104 victory vs the Indiana Pacers, Okoro had 18 points, 1 assist, and 1 rebound. This only sounds like good numbers, but if you look at the difficulty of the shots, they will surprise you. Okoro had acrobatic finishes, contested 3s, and the game winning and-1. Isaac Okoro defended Tj McConnell on a fadeaway mid-range shot with four seconds left. Then he proceeded to race down the court catch an assist from former Knick, Damian Dotson, and score the game winning and-1.

Isaac Okoro stands 6 feet and 6 inches tall and has a wingspan of 6 feet and 8 inches. The rookie out of Auburn only averaged 13 points and 4.4 rebounds per game in college. In his first two pre season games, Okoro had an 18 and a 15 point game. Along with Collin Sexton and Darius Garland, Isaac Okoro can be the third round star that the Cavaliers need. During the first preseason game, Okoro went 5/5 from the field, had a go ahead 3 pointer, and the game winner, just in the 4th quarter. I am really exited to see what he can do in the regular season. I also wonder if he adds enough value, that in 2-4 years the Cavs can be playoff contenders with this core?

Do you think Okoro has what it takes to be an All-Star in a couple of years? I. certainly do! Thank you for reading this article, if you liked it I post NBA content on Ig @Bball_city_. Thank you again and Knicks champions in 2021!
