The Georgia Bulldogs will have another big test this Saturday when the Volunteers come to town in Athens. The latest meeting between the two teams was in 2019 at Neyland Stadium, where the Dawgs took that game 43-14. The Georgia Bulldogs showed that their defense is still just as dominant as last year, and they showed that their offense is much improved since last year. One thing to keep an eye on for this game is the weather. As of today, the forecast in Athens calls for Thunderstorms and Rain all day.
Keys to the game:
Georgias offense will have to get out to a quick start just like they did against Auburn last week.
The Dawgs defense will have to keep Jarrett Guarantano inside the pocket as much as they can and make him beat them with his arm, which he is not known for the best accuracy.
If the forecast still calls for rain on gameday, ball security will be key. We cannot have 1 or 2 turnovers in this game because if Tennessee can capitalize on even 1 of those turnovers we could be in for a long game.
