With the signing/resigning phase upon us, the Minnesota Wild has chose to sign G Cam Talbot (3 yrs, $11 million, $3.67 million AAV). I think this is a really good signing for the Wild and a sign of good things to come. Yes, I still think we are going full rebuild and still have a big burden of having to deal with Zach Parise and Ryan Suter for at least 5 more years. The Wild have also signed Joseph Cramarossa ($700,000/$160,000), Dakota Mermis ($700,000/$250,000), the Wild is most likely investing in the future and making sure we have players for years to come. Good job Guerin! Some resignings that have happened are Kaapo Kahkonen (two-way contract for $700,000/$250,000 in 2020-21 and one-way contract for $750,000 in 2021-22), Jordan Greenway (2 yrs, $4.2 million, $2.1 million AAV), Carson Soucy (3 yrs, $8.25 million), Matt Bartkowski ($700,000/$325,00), and Kyle Rau ($700,000/$275,000). The Wild are signing some future stars for the organization and we are hoping we get to watch them play soon (and not just during preseason). I am also hoping we get to the postseason this year but that is me just dreaming.
