NFL Week 7 Power Rankings

This week was very underwhelming, matchups that fans were excited for such as the Steelers vs Browns and Cardinals vs Cowboys games were way too one sided for fans too be able to enjoy. Anyways I’m going to be continuing what I did last week, with a short segment for each team.

32 New York Jets

Although they’re getting their second round pick who was a stud in college back, Denzel Mims, Adam Gase still hasn’t been fired, therefore the Jets are still the worst team in the NFL.

31 Jacksonville Jaguars

Minshew was amazing early in the season but he really hasn’t been the same after losing a prime time game to Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Dolphins the rest of the team hasn’t been looking great either.

30 Washington Football Team

This team almost sucks more then their name. They don’t have a good quarterback, Alex Smith is lucky he can still walk, Kyle Allen isn’t going to win the team games, and Dwayne Haskins is a young quarterback that isn’t showing a lot of development.

29 New York Giants

That was a very sloppy win, but a win is a win. Their offense has really been the problem all season which shouldn’t be surprising considering that they lost their star runningback, Saquon Barkley.

28 Atlanta Falcons

The defense is still horrible, but the return of Julio Jones is making the team much better, it’s also really helpful that they got rid of Dan Quinn, a coach that seems to have been the reason for the Falcons’ lack of success.

27 Houston Texans

Brandon Cooks finally found his role in the offense and he’s playing great, Deshaun Watson and the Texans seem like they can be a solid team but they’re struggling to reach their potential.

26 Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals and Texans seem like they’re neck and neck right now but I give the slight edge to the Bengals because I believe they are young and the team can get much better.

25 Denver Broncos

The Broncos barely beat a team that had one practice in two weeks, I still think Drew Lock is a great quarterback but all of his weapons are injured, this really restricts the offense.

24 Detroit Lions

See how D’Andre Swift played great, it makes you think they should be giving him more carries, but no Matt Patricia is an idiot and he has to do everything he thinks Belicheck would do.

23 Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings are way better then their record shows. Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen are a superb receiver duo and their running game is spectacular.

22 Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers have a lot of young talent and they get into a lot of close games with way better teams, but they need to play like they did in the Saints and Chiefs game more often.

21 Philadelphia Eagles

Don’t blame Carson Wentz. The entire Eagles’ offense is injured, not even Russell Wilson can make this team play well.

20 Dallas Cowboys

Well now the coaches are getting publicly criticized, this team is really talented and it sucks that the talent is being ruined by bad coaching.

19 Carolina Panthers

Matt Rhule is definitely taking the team in the right direction even without McCaffery, when CMC comes back this team will start looking like a playoff team.

18 Miami Dolphins

I don’t understand why they are starting Tua, Ryan Fitzpatrick was playing like a top 12 quarterback, the team was starting to contend, the offensive line is horrible and it may lead to a major injury to their new franchise quarterback. That being said Tua is a phenomenal quarterback that can still take them to the playoffs if all goes well.

17 San Francisco 49ers

Everything is starting to come together, Deebo Samuel is back and he’s playing great, same with George Kittle. Now we just need to wait for Richard Sherman and Raheem Mostert.

16 Arizona Cardinals

After 5 weeks, the offense finally became more then just repeated passes to Deandre Hopkins and Kyler Murray scrambling, now Kenyan Drake, Christian Kirk, and Andy Isabella are finding their roles in the offense.

15 Cleveland Browns

This team isn’t bad, but Baker’s inability to throw under pressure prevents this team from being any higher. They also have horrific defensive backs.

14 Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders have had the same problem all year and I doubt it’s going to change after a week off. This problem has been their lack of defensive talent and they will have this problem for the rest of the season unless they make a big trade before the trade deadline.

13 Indianapolis Colts

The Colts are a solid team on paper but their inability to pass the ball makes their offense very one dimensional and predictable. This smash mouth offense may work throughout the regular season against mid-tier teams, but it won’t work in the playoffs against teams like the Ravens and Chiefs.

12 Las Angeles Rams

I think this team is very talented on both sides of the ball, but the Rams offense looked flat during the Rams game and I cannot have any higher unless they makeup for it next game with a win over the intimidating bears’ defense.

11 Chicago Bears

Speaking of the Bears, they’re a team with a devastating defense and a solid offense, as long as Foles can continue to hold the team together this team can go far.

10 New Orleans Saints

This team is still very well rounded even without Michael Thomas, Cameron Jordan and the defense are playing very well meanwhile the offense is doing its job and not turning the ball over, this team will be superb once Micheal Thomas comes back.

9 New England Patriots

Why do some people have the Patriots fall out of the top ten? It’s still belichick, the best coach of all time, he almost got this team to win despite only having one practice in 2 weeks.

8 Buffalo Bills

The Bills are a top tier team, and they’re only at 8 because they’re on a 2 game losing streak, Josh Allen is really inconsistent and their defense only has a 16% pressure rate despite blitzing the 5th most in the NFL.

7 Green Bay Packers

I know this team dropped very far and I have a reason for that. The game against the Buccaneers revealed this team’s major weakness, playing from behind, this is a major problem if the Packers want to make a deep playoff run.

6 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Consistency is very important in the NFL and the Buccaneers are not consistent at all, actually I’ll get more specific, the Buccaneers’ offense is inconsistent. The defense is one of the best in the league but the offense hasn’t been able to have consecutive 30+ point games (yes that is the standard I’m holding this team to).

5 Baltimore Ravens

This defense looked like one of the NFL’s best for a while and it still is one of the best, the Ravens fell in the rankings because of a horrible game against the Eagles.

4 Tennessee Titans

You can have these next 4 teams in any order, and that’s because all of these 4 teams are nearly flawless, the Titans are a great example of this with their well rounded defense and smash mouth defense.

3 Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers’ defense just solidified itself as the NFL’s best for a second year in a row. The Steelers’ offense has a large verity of targets for Big Ben that definitely makes this team a contender.

2 Seattle Seahawks

Russell Wilson is now the key player on this offense and he’s doing more then just carrying the team he’s making the whole offense look elite.

1 Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs’ offense is now unstoppable especially with the addition of Le’Veon Bell, and their defense is solid enough to allow their offense to win them games.
