The 2020 NFL season has miraculously reached the postseason. After many delayed games, due to COVID outbreaks within organizations, the NFL was able to not cancel one game and have all 32 teams complete their full 16 game schedule. As the regular season has came to a close, we know look forward to this weekends slate of playoff games. Today, we are predicting and previewing all 6 wild card games coming on Saturday/Sunday
2. Buffalo Bills (13-3) vs 7. Indianapolis Colts (11-5) 1:05 PM ET CBS
The Buffalo Bills have stormed their way into the postseason with a 13-3 record, they were arguably the hottest team at the end of the regular season. Whereas Indy, was able to get in through the skin of their teeth, although finishing 11-5, just reached the playoffs after a win vs Jacksonville and a Miami Dolphins loss. Both of these teams have star-studded defenses, including Tre White, Deforest Buckner, Darius Leonard and many more. Buffalo has proved to be a potent offense this season with Josh Allen having MVP type numbers with the addition of Stefon Diggs. Colts RB Jonathan Taylor has lead there way for Indy, having a red hot end to the 2020 season. This should be a close match, I believe Buffalo's offense is too much for the strong Colts D
MY PICK- Buffalo 30, Indianapolis 21
3. Seattle Seahawks (12-4) vs 6. L.A Rams (10-6) 4:40 PM ET FOX
This is one of the two division matchup in this years playoffs. The Rams and Seahawks have split matchups this season, both taking one. The Seahawks have been the clear stronger team this year, winning the NFC West pretty easily. Led by DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, a top duo offensively. Russell Wilson was an MVP favorite during the start of 2020, due to a slow month of December, that seems to be out of the possibility now. For the Rams, their stronger side of their team is their elite defense. Jalen Ramsey, Aaron Donald are two top-tier defensively players in the NFL. The biggest question is QB Jared Goff's health, he broke his thumb in the final match vs Seattle this season.
4. WFT (7-9) vs 5. TB Bucs (11-5) 8:20 PM ET NBC
A highly lopsided matchup on Saturday Night. The potent Tampa offense will face the young and hungry Washington defense. Chase Young, Terry Mclaurin and Montez Sweat will lead the way with vet QB Alex Smith. Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, Tom Brady, Antonio Brown. All on one offense. One of the bests in football. Expect a hard fought game from Washington and Ron Rivera. But too much firepower from Tampa Bay.
MY PICK- Bucs 34, WFT 20
4. Tennessee Titans (11-5) vs 5. Baltimore Ravens (11-5) 1:05 PM ET CBS
In my opinion the best game of Wild Card weekend, the rematch of the 2019 Divisional Round game. Lamar Jackson, 0-2 in postseason play looks to get his first win against the Derrick Henry led Titans. This should be a high-scoring and high-flying football game, both offenses red hot at the moment. Tennessee having blatant problems on defense, is a serious problem as the Ravens defense has many more playmakers. Baltimore should be able to score and get the stops needed for a big win.
MY PICK- Ravens 31, Titans 28
2. New Orleans Saints (12-4) vs 7. Chicago Bears (8-8) 4:40 PM ET FOX
New Orleans rolling into the playoffs as the second seed in the NFC, Chicago just barley sneaking into the playoffs after an Arizona loss got it done. A huge question is the status of Alvin Kamara, who tested positive last week, missing the week 17 game. if he is active for New Orleans, expect Khalil Mack and the Bears defense to have problems. Mitch Trubisky has been great down the stretch, but I believe he won't have enough to take down the Saints.
MY PICK - Saints 24, Bears 10
3. Pittsburgh Steelers (12-4) vs . Cleveland Browns (11-5) 8:20 PM ET NBC
The final game of the week is a divisional rivalry between Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Cleveland, who's back in the playoffs for the first time since 2002, is led by Baker Mayfield and a lethal run game. But will be without coach Kevin Stefanski and OG Joel Bitonio. Pittsburgh, started 11-0, has struggled down the stretch but seems to be putting it back together. An Elite defense and experienced QB in Ben Roethlisberger may cause problems for the Browns this week. Expect a hard fought, gritty football game that the more experienced group to get the win.
MY PICK - Steelers 24, Browns 20
This week should turn out to be a great week of games with lots of action. What are your thoughts? Comment down Below...
