After our top 10 point guards and shooting guards list we must move on to the next position. Small Forwards!! Just to point out Kevin Durant will not show up here because he didn't play this year. Alright let's get started.
Starting off at number 10 I have Joe Ingles. A valuable role player for the Jazz this season. Ingles is a great shooter and a good play maker. Ingles has been a key point to the Jazz success this year and he has been for a couple years now. His catch and shoot abilities are amazing and it helps spread the floor with the rest of the Jazz's great shooters. Joe Ingles is averaging 9.8 pts, 5.2 ast, and 4.0 reb.
At number 9 I have Tobias Harris. Harris wasn't talked about to much this year but he is still a valuable piece for Philly. He is a great all around player that can do pretty much anything. There isn't really much to say about Tobias cause he hasn't had much attention this year. All I can say is the guy is still great and I can't wait to see how the future turns out for Tobias. Tobias Harris is averaging 19.4 pts, 3.2 ast, and 6.8 reb.
At number 8 I have Bojan Bogdanovic. I'm just gonna say it. Bojan is easily one of the most underrated players in the NBA. This man needs some recognition for his skills. He is an elite shooter and all around scorer who doesn't slack on the defensive end either. Bojan has been incredible for the Jazz this year and I literally can't wait to see how well he preforms with the Jazz in the playoffs. I think he will do fantastic but only time will tell. Bojan is averaging 20.2 pts, 2.1 ast, and 4.1 reb.
At number 7 I have Demar Derozan. Like Tobias Harris he hasn't been talked about to much this year. This doesn't change anything for me though. I know he is still a great player. He is a great scorer especially at the mid range and he is arguably the most valuable player for the spurs. It's either him or Lamarcus Aldridge. Derozan has never been the same after he was traded to the spurs and the spurs will probably not make the playoffs ending there playoff apperance record, but at least he can be a role model in the locker room for a rebuilding team. Demar Derozan is averaging 22.2 pts, 5.6 ast, and 5.6 reb.
At number 6 I have Brandon Ingram. Ingram is a top most improved player this year but I can't say I didn't see it coming. Now that Ingram has his own team, his stats have gone way up and he is a much better player. I think the duo of him and Zion along with the rest of the Pelicans young core will be a problem in years to come. All I can say is the future is looking very bright for Ingram!! Brandon Ingram is averaging 24.3 pts, 4.3 ast, and 6.3 reb.
At number 5 I have Khris Middleton. Middleton has been a terrific second option for the bucks this year and I think he will do great in the playoffs. He is a great scorer but he is also a great defender which most people don't give him enough credit for. I do have to address that I do think Middleton is slightly overrated. This is because even though Middleton has the respect of many fans and we all know how great he is, there are still people who say he is one of the most underrated player in the league. Although Middleton is still a great player. Middleton is averaging 21.1 pts, 4.1 ast, and 6.2 reb.
At number 4 I have Jimmy Butler. Butler has done an outstanding job with the heat this year being in a lead role for a young team. Butler was the perfect guy for the heat this season and it's no wonder why the heat are the 4th seed in the east this year. This team is seriously a problem and I feel bad for any team that has to face them. Jimmy Butler is also one of the best 2 way players in the league. It never ends!! Jimmy Butler is averaging 20.2 pts, 6.1 ast, and 6.6 reb.
At number 3 I have Luka Doncic. Now I have to say this. You could say Luka Doncic is any where from the 1-3 positions. He is pretty much a point forward so I decided to rank him as a small forward. But putting that aside. Luka is incredible!! Already in his sophomore season Luka is already in MVP talks!! That is more unbelievable than you think!! In my opinion Luka Doncic be the best player in the league in 5 years!! There is not limit for Luka's potential!! Luka Doncic is averaging 28.7 pts, 8.7 ast, and 9.3 reb.
At number 2 I have Kawhi Leonard. If we are going strictly off this season then we can't put Kawhi over LeBron because Kawhi sat out a decent amount of games and LeBron is at the top of MVP discussions with Giannis. Regardless, Kawhi is still in my opinion the best 2 way player in the NBA. I think the clippers will win the chip this year under Kawhi's leadership largely due to the fact that Kawhi takes it to a whole other level in the playoffs. Kawhi is still an easy top 5 player in the NBA. Kawhi Leonard is averaging 26.9 pts, 5.0 ast, and 7.3 reb.
At number 1 I have LeBron James. No surprise here. Just based off this season LeBron gets the slight edge over Kawhi. LeBron and the lakers have the best record in the west and that is more surprising then you think. This is because if you look at the rest of the roster besides LeBron and AD. It really isn't that good compared to other top teams. That just shows you how good LeBron and AD have been this year. The craziest part, LeBron is 35 and he is still at this level!! LeBron is averaging 25.7 pts, 10.6 ast, and 7.9 reb.
That is my top 10 small forwards list!! What do you think??
