Why I Think so Highly of LeBron James

LeBron has had a massive impact off the court. He shows his impact through the importance of BLM, his philanthropy to Ohio (his home state), and being a great role model to kids.

But, LeBron started his impactfulness through basketball, and he's affected many teams and many people.

LeBron has been in the league since 2003 and has played like a veteran type player since his first game.

LeBron helped his the Cavs win 18 more games his first season while winning Rookie of the Year.

When LeBron is on your team, he has an effect. He can singlehandedly carry your team.

From his 3rd year in the league to his 7th year in the league LeBron's Cavs were a top 4 team in the Eastern Conference. However, despite making the championship as well as the conference finals they failed to win a championship.

In 2011 when LeBron toke his talents to South Beach to play for the Heat, the Cavs instantly became one of the worst teams in the league. During the 4 years that LeBron was gone the Cavs finished as the 15th seed, the 13th seed twice, and the 10th seed. Not to mention that during his time in Miami, LeBron was winning championships and teaming up with his banana boat buddy and best friend Dwayne Wade.

In 2015 when LeBron was back on the Cavs with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love they faced the Warriors in the championship with the three-headed monster of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. Kevin Love was injured during the series and Kyrie Irving got injured game 1.

Somehow, with J.R. Smith as LeBron's #2 he took the Warriors to 6 games averaging 30 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists per game.

The following year the Cavs famously beat the 73-9 Warriors, coming back from a 3-1 lead. The first team to ever do so.

LeBron wanted to go back to Cleveland to give them a championship. He could have stayed in Miami with Wade and compete, but he wanted to go back to Cleveland to fill his duty.

Additionally, this man is insane in the playoffs. You can't forget the time when LeBron nearly outscored, outrebounded, and out assisted Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan combined. I often joke about how LeBron doesn't even try until the playoffs because of how dominant he is.

This year LeBron showed how he matured in the game by leading the league in assists. Before LeBron was primarily known as a scorer. However, this year he was known as a passer.

LeBron has the desire to make his teammates better. The Lakers' chemistry is the best in the league. LeBron and the Lakers have been seen multiple times interacting with each other outside of practice.

Michael Jordan never hung out with Scottie Pippen or Dennis Rodman outside of basketball.

During quarantine, LeBron made it his mission to make sure his teammates had court access so that they were ready when the season resumed.

It is rumored that LeBron has held private workouts with 1-2 players at a time. Players such as Anthony Davis, Danny Green, Kyle Kuzma, and Alex Caruso have been rumored to be taken part in these private practices.

Lastly, we can't forget that the King is 35 years old and is still competing for MVP. LeBron hasn't missed an All-star game since 2005 and plans on staying in the league long enough to play with his son, Bronny James.

LeBron's effect on a team is like no other. That is why I believe that he is the best teammate of all time and why I have so much respect for LeBron and why I think so highly of him.
