The Pittsburgh Steelers are doing their fans a favor on Monday Night.
The Steelers will be showcasing their color rush jerseys for the first time since 2020 and are 6-1 when they wear them. The Steelers will be taking on the Bears of Chicago and they can’t take them lightly. Pittsburgh has a couple of teams that no matter what they always struggle against, and Chicago is one of them.
The Steelers don’t have the best track record against the Bears as of late. Chicago is 19-7-1 against the Steelers all-time. The Bears won the first 10 matchups against the Steelers starting in 1934 and won 3 of the last 5 meetings ranging from 1998-2017. The Bears hit stride last week against the 49ers with rookie QB Justin Fields and without head coach Matt Nagy. The last time the Bears came to Pittsburgh was in 2013 on Sunday night football and won 40-23.
This game is starting to feel more and more like a trap game for the Steelers. Coming off a big division win in Cleveland the Steelers have high spirits and have a primetime home game against a team that has been struggling too but is also coming off a win. Hopefully, the Steelers can pull it off and the color rush jerseys should help with that.
