The Good, The Bad, The Jimmy

The 49ers suffered an abysmal loss to the Broncos in what was a very defensive heavy game

The Good

Defense played amazingly (per usual) holding the offense to under 10 Points, gave up only 261 Yards, and sacked the Quarterback Four times. Some notable players include S Talanoa Hufanga who continues to dominate with 4 Tackles and a TFL at just about the handoff, CB Mooney Ward who boasted 8 Tackles, 1 TFL, and a Pass Deflection, and Dre Greenlaw two weeks removed from signing his extension proved why he got paid having 10 tackles.

The Bad

Offense, just offense. More importantly the Italian man from Eastern Illinois Mr. James Richard Garoppolo. Our defense had an outstanding performance, the only issue, our offense could not replicate even half of that performance. Our offense scraped up 267 Yards, managed only 10 Points (and gave away 2…) allowed Four Sacks, and coughed up the ball Three times, Two of those times being in crucial moments. We can’t forget the niners attempts at Deebo’s life calling the same jet sweep six times none of them working at all and nearly injuring him. Also we can’t forget about the injuries that were suffered, LT Trent Williams and LB Azeez Al-Shaair are both expected to miss time with injuries.

The Jimmy

Where do we begin, Jimmy Garoppolo is making his first start (Not appearance) since the loss to the Rams in the Championship Game, and let’s just say somehow he couldn’t pick up where he left off in that awful game. He missed many passes, miss wide open targets, and had two turnovers one of those being in a very crucial part of the game. We can’t forget that he also ran out of the back of his own endzone. I think it is safe he’s proven why Lance was drafted. I just hope he can pick it up if not we’re staring down a 1-3 start.
