The Miami Dolphins return to glory

Yesterday, the Dolphins defeated the Bears 35-32, in yet another dominant offensive performance.

In March, the Dolphins traded for superstar WR Tyreek Hill. It’s safe to say that this move has paid off. Hill has over 1,100 yards in only nine games, which obviously leads the league.

In the 2021 NFL Draft, the Dolphins selected WR Jaylen Waddle with the No. 6 pick. Waddle played with Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa at Alabama, which played a factor in this pick. Waddle has been fantastic in his young career. He had over 100 catches as a rookie, but only averaged 9 YPC. This year, he has over 800 yards and is averaging 17 YPC.

Last but not least, let’s talk about Tua Tagovailoa. Tua was drafted back in 2020, fifth overall. After two disappointing years in the league for Tua, HC Brian Flores was unexpectedly fired. Many fans didn’t like the move. The Dolphins would go on to hire 49ers OC Mike McDaniel to be their new HC. McDaniel has given Tua everything he needs, and he’s delivered. He started the season off hot, including a game where he would post 469 yards and six touchdowns. After a 3-0 start, fans around the world were finally buying in. That would be until they’d travel to Cincinnati, Ohio to take on the Bengals in a TNF matchup. Tua would suffer a severe concussion that had fans concerned for his career. Fortunately, he’d only miss two games, and return like nothing ever happened. When Tua has played the whole game, the Dolphins are a whopping 6-0.

Time will tell, but it seems as if the Dolphins are back.
