Vanderbilt Basketball Head Coach Jerry Stackhouse has received a contract extension. Stackhouse is entering his fourth season as head coach. His original deal was 6 seasons. Vanderbilt has improved in each of his first 3 seasons. The Commodores are most recently coming off of a 19 win season that led to a berth in the NIT, where they lost to eventual champion Xavier in the quarterfinals. Stackhouse also put together an amazing 2022 recruiting class, with 3 4 stars and 2 3 stars who look to be potential diamonds in the rough. Hopefully the improvement will continue this upcoming season, and Stackhouse can lead the ‘Dores to a tournament berth. He has his deepest and most complete roster by far. And he is now under contract for several more years.
