The Wild seemed to have lost their game at the beginning of the season having lost 3 in a row and giving up 20 goals. However the Wild seemed to find their game and are 3-5 in their last 8. Some people are blaming the lack of success for the Wild on the decision to not resign Fiala.
The latest success for the Wild has come at the hands…or should I say pads of Marc-Andre Fleury. He has played 10 games and is 6-3. Filip Gustavsson has played 4 games and he is 1-3, that singular win was Thursday night versus Anaheim where he saved 31 of 32 shots. Fleury tonight, was a Brock wall stopping all 28 shots he faced. Giving him a shutout which marked his 72 NHL shutout and most among all active NHL goaltenders.
Good jub to Fleury and the rest of the Wild squad tonight. But don’t plan the cup parade yet, the Wild have a long road ahead and they need to keep winning, and as Minnesota sports fans we all know the disappointment of when our teams lose. Hope you guys liked the article, let me know how you feel.
